Philosophy is the main interest in Sam’s present life. It is particularly connected with the essence of Being (ontology) and awareness.
Sam’s university study included a scription on the effect of Time and Duration in human life. Next to western philosophy he studied Indian and Chinese thought, particularly on Vedanta and Taoism.
Sam lectured at the ‘School voor Filosofie’ in Amsterdam for several years. Later he had several groups of Philosophy and Spirituality students. He prepared a large publication Schijn of Zijn (Being or Illusion), for which he is hoping to find a publisher. The text has also been translated in English. Sam is working on publications on Art and Philosophy, Language and Philosophy (etymology in relation to Sanskrit) and a philosophy method for school teachers.
Sam is also interested in Eastern literature, including Japanese haiku translations.
